Elementary School children also study Art, Dutch, Library, Music, Physical Education, and Computing. We also have a Support Services Team (SST) which assists students who may need additional learning support or enrichment in the core subject areas.

Inside the Classroom

Beyond The Classroom

Beyond academics, Elementary School students experience essential dimensions of learning. They participate in a rich array of programs which are unique to ASH and very much a part of who we are. Regular field trips to Dutch museums, farms, orchards and historical places are linked to the Elementary School curriculum. Through Art Masterpiece, Extravaganza, International Day, and many other enrichment activities, our students learn about themselves, the ASH community and the world.

We also ask that parents, staff and students take note of our policy regarding the use of ASH Campus Facilities. Official school supervision of students ends upon school dismissal, at which point students must be accompanied by an adult at all times when on campus after school hours. During the vacation periods, students may not be on campus using the school facilities unless under the direct supervision of a member of the Faculty.
