Even the spooky weather couldn't dampen down the Halloween spirit at the inaugural PTO Day of the Dead Trunk or Treat. Our ASH community really embraced this new event and made it a wonderful evening. We sold 600 wristbands, had 41 cars and bikes participating as candy stops and an army of volunteers, including ASH’s very own Troy the Trojan who opened the event with the cheerleaders and a costume parade. Then the real fun began with everyone visiting the candy stops and playing games in the atrium.
There was a great atmosphere around the event, with fun costumes on display and very creative trunk displays. A big congratulations to the Small family, winners of the best-decorated trunk competition.
The PTO put a tremendous amount of work into this event and they also wanted to share their appreciation for everyone involved in running the event and who attended:
“One of the themes I really want to pull out is how much of an ASH community event this was, we had everyone involved; from the kids collecting candy through to the high schoolers running the games and volunteering in the car parks, from the administration and teachers through to the concierges and security. Everyone pulled together to make this a fantastic event and #ASHexperience, so thank you, everyone!”
