Celebrating and Saying Farewell to the ASH 2018-2019 School Year
With the last day of school on Wednesday, June 19th, students, staff and parents across all divisions celebrated the year’s achievements, and said farewell to classmates, teachers and friends as they head into their summer break. From classroom and grade level parties, to big end of year divisional assemblies, to traditions like Grade 4 Crossing the Bridge Ceremony and Grade 8 Promotion, each day allowed for our ASH Community members to make fun and meaningful memories as they say farewell or see you next school year. We also said farewell to our departing staff members across all divisions, and this year’s retiree Michele Velthuisen, Middle School Librarian, who worked at ASH for 23 years and founded the Middle School Library. Whether staying as part of the ASH Community, or becoming an ASH Alumni, we wish everyone a well deserved and restful time during the summer months, before the return to ASH, the classroom, or heading off on your next big life adventure.
