Applying Geometry To Create The Best Candy Packaging

Last week, Grade 7 students presented their designed candy packages as part of their Geometry unit. They applied their knowledge of shape and space to design these packages to meet a number of criteria including; cost-efficiency, sustainability, appeal to customers, how attractive they are and how easily they will stack on store shelves, and convenience to ship in large and small quantities. Fellow students and staff were invited to hear their presentations and then vote on the best package. Congratulations to all the students for creating innovative and exciting designs!
