ASH Students Represent 77 Nationalities in “Our United World”

The ASH community congregated for International Festival on April 6th in celebration of our diversity. A PTO-organized event, this festival is possible thanks to the many students who participate and receive support from parent volunteers and ASH employees. We were also honored to host distinguished representatives from the diplomatic community whom our student welcomers received and led to the special VIP preview of the ASH 65th Anniversary Exhibition. Thank you to the Ambassadors from India, Jordan, Israel, Costa Rica, Finland, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait for taking the time to spend this special day with the ASH community.

The Finnish Ambassador, H. E. Ms.Päivi Kaukoranta, kicked off International Festival and shared encouraging words about peace and how we all play a role as ambassadors. Student performances followed the opening ceremony and included dances from around the world and Chinese song singers. This year's annual traditional flag parade saw 77 students line up and carry their country’s flag led by the official ASH flags. It was a powerful reminder of our culturally diverse backgrounds and a celebration of our international identity.
