Academics In The Middle School

Middle School students (Grades 5 through 8) study Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health and Modern Language or, in the case of non-native English speakers, English as an Additional Language (EAL). Students have a choice of enrolling in Dutch, Native Dutch, French or Spanish. In addition, all students take technology skills and music classes and a course from our Arts Rotation (Home Economics, Movement, Drama, IT Electives).

We also have a Learning Support Services Team, consisting of Counseling, Speech and Language, and Special Needs staff. This team assists students who may need additional learning support or enrichment in the core subject areas.
