Locations
From our early years on the Parkweg and the Paulus Buijsstraat, to the iconic wavy blue exterior school wall on the Rijksstraatweg, and the environmentally sustainable learning spaces at the Early Childhood Center on the Deijlerweg, each building has left a unique mark on our history and ASH Journey.
People
Over the years, hundreds of employees, administrators and leaders have walked through our hallways and guided our students in their learning and fostering passions in life. Some have stayed for just a short while, while others have been with us for decades, all making their mark on our students and history.
Visitors
Over the years, the ASH community has been honored to meet, listen to, learn from, and be inspired by some exceptional individuals. Each of these visitors has left a mark on our collective memory and also sparked dreams in our students and inspired them to reach for the stars.
Traditions
Traditions are the glue that bonds us across the decades, an emotional connection, like a thread between people, places and time. Our traditions at ASH are fundamental to the heart of the school and help tell our school story, our unique #ASHexperience.
Landmarks
Across our campus you will find a plethora of landmarks, art pieces and objects that revive memories of when ASH was your home away from home. Each item has a piece of ASH history attached to it, bringing back a key memory or moment in time.
Identity
Our graphic identity saw the light with a simple drawing for the first school brochure circa 1957. From there, the school grew and our identity evolved to reflect the times and our community. Our logo is an an integral part of the ASH visual identity and cultural fabric, representing our student-centered learning community.
