Dear Families,

On behalf of our dedicated and experienced faculty and staff, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new and returning families to ASH. We look forward to supporting your child's learning journey.

Your child can look forward to growing their content knowledge and academic skills, developing their sense of self through academic and extracurricular activities, and exploring the positive ways they can contribute to our community and the world. Our ASH Core Values: Communication, Empathy, Integrity, Responsibility and Respect in combination with the Middle School Habits for Learning: Collaboration, Perseverance, Responsibility and Engagement in Learning are focus points for the qualities and skills we help students develop to best prepare them for their future.

With our world in a state of dynamic change, equipping our students for success in their ever-changing tomorrow is essential. In tune with this reality, ASH has defined itself as a forward-thinking school poised to develop what education can and needs to be. We currently are on a journey of collaboratively crafting this future through strategic planning and re-accreditation work that focuses on important topics like Visible Well Being and Inquiry Learning. The middle school team is excited to partner with students, parents, and faculty from other divisions as we grow, learn and create programs that position our students to excel in their future!

Know that your child’s success is our success and that we believe that working constructively in partnership will support them as lifelong learners. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your middle school office, teachers or your administration team. We are looking forward to a great year of learning together.

In partnership,
Beth Coyle
Middle School Principal
