High school is a time for learning mastery and nurturing talents and passions through authentic experiences and engagement with the world around us. Our students are confident and able to pursue their unique interests, learn in a way that is relevant to them, and hone their skills in preparation for university and related to their career goals.

ASH students can pursue a variety of pathways in order to graduate from ASH. There's the breadth of the International Baccalaureate Programme and Advanced Placement with a choice of courses to suit individual student interests. Our high school diploma is a four-year university preparatory program that develops our students as learners and unique individuals.

Students who are connected to their learning gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter and are better able to apply knowledge and transfer skills. We embrace various types of learning experiences, including classroom learning, project-based learning, experiential learning, fieldwork, and virtual collaboration.

We believe in balancing the educational needs of our students with their social, emotional and physical development. Through our high school co-curricular program we encourage our students to pursue their unique interests through various activities, clubs and experiences related to sports, service, leadership, advocacy, art, culture, and adventure. ASH’s membership to several associations offer opportunities for collaboration and competition among international students across Europe.

We build a better world as we become better human beings, hear and value every voice, keep every promise, and celebrate every achievement.

We are determined to create a school where everyone is confident and able to take control of their own learning, and the world is our classroom.
