Yvo joined the board in April of 2022. He has extensive experience in education, both in Dutch and international schools. Currently Kühling works as substitute teacher in elementary schools in the wider The Hague area. This year alone he taught at more than ten different schools, mostly with students from challenging backgrounds. In Belgrade, Delhi and Moscow he worked as board member, director and (substitute) teacher in various international schools.

Graduated as a business economist at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam, Yvo held management positions in the private sector for over twenty years, ranging from the -print and online- publishing industry to technology and internet startups. In 2020, he repatriated with his family from Moscow, where he was commercial director of The Moscow Times.

The written word is a strong passion of Yvo. His 'daily musings in verse' are read around the world. In December of 2021, his debut novel was published in the Netherlands. 'Het Verbond van Vijf' received promising reviews in national and local media.
