David is an international educator who has worked around the world for more than 25 years. David was born and raised in a small town in Alberta, Canada, where he attended the University of Alberta and received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He later received his Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Alabama. David has taught in Guatemala, Venezuela and Peru before moving to Asia.  He spent eight years working at Mont' Kiara International School in Kuala Lumpur as an IB Coordinator and Assistant Secondary Principal and most recently David was the High School Principal at the International School of Beijing. He is passionate about student wellness and using research to push the boundaries of the modern classroom.
