Last week, our visual arts department hosted the ASH community for a creative evening around the theme “Identity”. During this pARTy, students young and older shared and exhibited their artwork as event-goers visited the various art stations dotting ASH to participate in a range of art activities, such as making origami hearts, creating identity collages, carving stencils and editing photos into popular art scenes.
Also on offer were workshops led by guest artist Fleur Akersloot, artist and illustrator, and our very own ASH faculty Ms. Buzzario and Mr. Harman, who further shared their passion for the arts. Topping off the evening was the fASHion show with student creations made from recycled and sustainable fashion on display, honoring this year’s themes of identity, sustainability and culture.
This event showcased the incredible creative spirit within our community and personified what makes the #ASHexperience so special. Enjoy these snapshots of a great event.
