Reilly - The Theater-loving Communicator

I’ve had so much fun during my time at ASH and I’m truly going to miss it. I think what I’ll miss most is the community I’ve formed in my classrooms, sports teams, and clubs.

My favorite memory at ASH would probably be from the closing night of this year's musical. My friends and I had the opportunity to thank all the people who've helped with the ASH performances. Standing up on the stage with my friends after our last performance at ASH was just so surreal to me and will stay with me forever. There is truly nothing better than finding someone you relate to.

I've always known that I wanted to work in media, it was just a matter of deciding in which way. My brother actually studied video production and I was inspired by him to look further into that world. I plan on studying communications with an emphasis on video production and I’m also hoping to get a technical theater minor if my credits allow it. I plan to choose technical theater as a possible minor because I loved my technical theater class and wanted to further my knowledge in that.

So far, I’ve been accepted to Brigham Young University in Idaho and it is probably one of the schools that I've been considering the most. I’m still waiting for my top school to respond, so I’m waiting in comfortable anticipation.

The thing I’m looking forward to the most in this next phase of my life is the freedom to explore my interests. I’ve always been interested in so many things throughout my life and I’m excited for the freedom that college offers to explore those things.
