Middle School Artists Embrace Their Creativity During VLE

Here at ASH, we have seen so many creative initiatives and ways of doing things that have emerged from this time of virtual and blended learning. We are continually impressed with what members of our ASH community have come up with and how they have persevered with such positivity and enthusiasm. Sharing examples of our student successes has been incredibly important during this time of uncertainty, and today we’re proud to share with you the work of our middle school artists. The work has been collated and curated by one of the students themselves!

“Who could imagine that we would be moving to a VLE and that our middle school art students would continue to create, think critically, and grow as artists and designers. Please enjoy this virtual art gallery, created and designed by our very own designer from Grade 8, Mara-Crina. All of the art students were invited to share their work as well as their own art websites... Be sure to read the artist statements for insights into their pieces. We wish you all a healthy, peaceful summer holiday.” - Ms. Rhodes, Middle School Art Teacher

Below are just a few of the many talented works from the virtual gallery, click here to tour and virtually walk through all the pieces.
