It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of two alumni: Jana Quattlebaum ‘76 and Paul Garrad ‘87, who were both at ASH during their high school years.

 

Robin, fellow ‘76 alum, shared of Jana: “Both Jana and I were fortunate to become best friends at ASH in 1976. Although it was 48 years ago it seems like yesterday and the memories are so vivid. Jana and I had so much fun together both in and out of class…..Jana was fun and fearless. Although we lost contact over the years my sister found Jana online and re-connected us…our friendship remained everything it was.” You are welcome to share your condolences and memories of Jana online here.

 

In memory of Paul, ASH alum ‘88 Laura shared: “I met Paul when we both lived in the Netherlands. He was sweet and spunky with a sparkle of mischief in his eye. He was kind to all, but had a brilliant sarcasm and love of laughter. At ASH, he was a security guard during MUN, played Rugby and was a friend to all. So many special memories to hold dear.
