Arthur is in elementary school and came to ASH in 2018 from a French speaking school in the Netherlands. He is eight years old and loves soccer, reading fiction and solving complicated math problems! Yali is also in elementary school and is eight years old. She came to ASH in 2018 from Israel and loves dancing, gymnastics and reading series books. Both students were in Mr. Hirsch’s EAL (English as a Second Language) class when they arrived in second grade at ASH and were beginners in learning English. They worked very hard in second grade to improve their English language skills and their time in EAL makes up a special part of their #ASHexperience.
