We were lucky to welcome back two alumni last week for tours of the campus and a peek through our school archives: David, ASH parent alum and Neven, Class of 1982.

 

“Faith was in quite a few musicals when she was in middle school. Our family really loved being a part of ASH.” David, ASH parent alum.

 

Former board member and alumni parent David was happy to find their “chair” in the theater; the plaque on the back dedicated to their entire family and their 6 years at ASH. Even though daughter Faith (‘13) wasn't along for the visit, there were so many happy memories of her on stage and in her classrooms. David was an active board member and could recall many administrative details when he served as Board VP from ‘04-’06.

 

Student alum Neven came by to visit the “new” campus, 50 years on since he was an elementary school student in The Hague. He was so happy to find himself in his grade 4 yearbook photo from 1973 and could remember so many of his young classmates. He found his younger sister in her class photo, too! It was very special to take around an alum from that time.

“My little sister and I loved being at ASH. It was a challenge for us but we really enjoyed it. It has made my day to come back and visit today.” Neven, Class of 1982.
