Lorenzo’s course choices—Math Analysis and Approaches High Level (HL), Physics HL, Chemistry HL, English Language & Literature Standard Level (SL), Economics SL, and Spanish B SL—are a strong example of a balanced academic structure. “It allowed me to expand my knowledge in a range of different subjects,” he explains.

With plans to pursue Mechanical Engineering after graduation, Lorenzo feels well prepared for the next step. The IB’s demanding yet supportive framework has strengthened his academic confidence, expanded his critical thinking skills, and broadened his global outlook.
