 | Beyond Academics, Middle School students experience essential dimensions of learning. They participate in a rich array of programs unique to ASH and very much a part of who we are. Though the different activities below, students are able to explore their interests, learn about themselves, the ASH community and the world at large:
| Extravaganza
Extravaganza is our annual musical program, with nearly 650 ASH students from ages 8 to 18 performing choral, instrumental, and dance numbers. Extravaganza showcases ensemble as well as full band and choral pieces. The evening generally includes world music from African, Asian, European, or Southeast Asian cultures, along with classic pieces and pop music selections. A school wide event for over 25 years, Extravaganza is the music event that no one should miss.

International Day
International Day is a celebration of nationality. The Dean serves on the International Committee and helps plan this important schoolwide event. Middle School participates in the opening assembly which showcases the various nationalities representing our student body. There are country booths with samples of food provided by parents. Middle School teachers may bring their students to view the country classrooms in the Elementary School.
