We are strongly committed using state-of-art technology to support our students' learning, and to prepare them for an increasingly technical global world. The High School has been using laptops in the classroom for many years. This year our Grade 9, 10 and 11 students are part of our 1 to 1 Laptop Program, where every student is issued a laptop. Students in Grade 12 have access to laptops via classroom carts. We have 8 carts, each with 20 computers, that teachers use with their classes. The library also has laptops for student use. Our Music Technology program utilizes a specialized computer lab to create and edit digital sound, and the Arts program's lab is used for photography and video design. Teachers also have access to scanners, tablets, cameras, and document readers to help support their curriculum needs. Most of the High School classrooms have smartboards and our teachers set annual technology goals to further develop their use of technology in lessons. Our High School teachers are committed to creating an environment where the use of technology is routine and transparent, and supports curricular goals.
