In the last assembly the students were treated to:


- An intro to Echo, a platform for students and teachers to exhibit their work, ranging from short stories and poetry to photography and music. The site is filled with pictures and videos as well as interviews with contributors. Be sure to check out the site and comment on your favourites! http://web.ash.nl/echo/


- A slideshow of the Grassroots Thailand Trip, where students from the High School and the Middle School shared their journey through Thailand working with the students at Grassroots, a human rights organization that helps Burmese migrant workers and their families.


- A SustainASH guest speaker, Mr. Ian Worling from IKEA, captured the audience with the 8 steps of how to design furniture in a sustainable way.


In the upcoming assembly on February 16th students will be treated to a performance featuring Mr. O’Murchu and Mr. Cunningham’s class as well as the introduction of the Gay/ Straight Alliance club to ASH.
