Rainbow Color House Day

On the Friday before Winter Break, Color House sponsored the Rainbow Color House Day. It was a day filled with physical, mental and creative activities. Some of the activities included: musical highlights from the Winter Concerts, the Rainbow Olympics, puzzles, games, the Electric Slide, glass bending, arts and crafts, the egg drop and lots of other fun activities. Parents helped out with the Olympics and of course, covering the duties for the day and providing a delicious luncheon for the teachers. You know how much we appreciate your help and support! The snow ended the day a bit early, but it still was a great way to start Winter Break! The students really enjoyed the snow as you can see from the photos.
Since returning from Break, the Color House Council has focused on student concerns and will be helping to find some solutions and reporting back to students. Of course, we will be doing the charity fundraiser Heart-to-Heart Valentine candy gram notes in February. Last year we were able to make a donation to the victims in Haiti and we look forward to helping out again.
